Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on September 21 the 21st of September 1983 in Worthington Ohio, USA is an American actor. She is best known for her roles as Shannon Rutherford and Kim Mills and Kim Mills on ABC's Lost television show. Maggie Grace was born in Worthington from Ohio dropped out of high school and moved in Los Angeles after her divorced parents divorced. It was a struggle to get by at the time she landed her first role in acting as Rachel's Room's lead character. In 2002, she was nominated for an Young Artist Award with her role as 15-year old murder victim Martha Moxley. Grace Rutherford was the character Shannon Rutherford for Lost's first two seasons of 2004 and she shared the Screen Actors Guild Award (with all the other actors) alongside her. Leaving the series Grace would like to be as a film actress, and had been cast as the opposite of Tom Welling in The Fog in 2005. The actress has also appeared in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club as well in 2007 as well as in Taken opposite Liam Neeson in 2008 as Kim Mills. Her role was reprised for Taken 2 (2011) and Taken 3 (2013).She also played Alice in Malice in Wonderland, a contemporary adaptation of the Lewis Carroll novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace reprised Shannon's role as Shannon in Lost for two additional episodes, including the finale of the series. She also was a guest in the sixth series of Californication. The character she plays is Faith as the muse and fan of the celebrities. Hank Moody as played by David Duchovny falls in love with her. She's a Gyllenhaal. child of Stephen Gyllenhaal (director) and Naomi Achs (producer), and is older than Jake Gyllenhaal. In her teens She began working in small roles for her father and appeared in Donnie Darko along with her brother. The year 2002 saw her was featured as a character in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. The actress also starred in Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal was nominated to win a Golden Globe Award in both the romantic comedy Sherrybaby (2005) and the romance comedy Secretary (2002). Both movies were critically acclaimed. She starred in several commercially successful movies including World Trade Center. However, it was her role in the role of Rachel Dawes that brought her greater attention for her performance in The Dark Knight (2008). In the wake of her performance that was a hit as a single mother in Crazy Heart (2009), she received the Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Her subsequent roles include Nanny McPhee and in the Big Bang and Hysteria. Her other roles are as an agent of The Secret Service in White House Down 2013, singing in Frank 2014, and in The Kindergarten Teacher 2018, where she portrays the title character. The debut of Gyllenhaal as a director and writer took place in 2021, with The Lost Daughter, a psycho-drama that won her an award at the Venice International Film Festival Best Screenplay Award. She also won an Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay.
