John Denver is a popular musician and singer who has touched a lot of people through his music. A lot of them have roots in Colorado. Brown clarified. Take Me Home Country Roads was co-written by Bill Danoff - was Denver's first Top 10 single as a solo performer after a brief stint in small folk bands.
